Popular throughout the whole year with tourists from all around the world, Broadway is another typically Cotswolds little gem, hidden within the vast and beautiful Cotswolds countryside.

Recently, Cotswold Allure Magazine had coffee with George Davies, speaking about his opening of the first dedicated FG4 shop, which he decided to open in Broadway, a change from the traditional high-street model of his past successes: NEXT, George at ASDA and Per Una at Marks and Spencer, instead favoring a more modern “Human to Human” approach for the new fashion brand.

Now this new Human to Human approach towards business, which Cotswold Allure Magazine will soon be writing about, appears to be happening within the art industry too, once again placing Broadway firmly in the spotlight.

Meet Andy Seger, who Cotswold Allure Magazine first met whilst hosting his first Midlands Luxury Show in 2016, and David Hamilton.

Andy Seger (above left) has spent many years working closely with some of the world’s most iconic luxury brands including Theo Fennell, Greubel Forsey watches and Backes and Strauss to name a few. He is also experienced in arranging luxury shows, working with carefully selected partner brands such as Rybrook Rolls Royce, Sunseeker Yachts and Browning Shot Guns.

David Hamilton (above right) was previously based at a leading international art dealership and has an extensive background in contemporary and secondary market art. His attention to detail and love of design is clearly evident, particularly when helping clients whether they are acquiring their first luxury piece or adding to their collection.

Andy and David have combined their passion for art, opening Broadway Luxury together, having felt that there was a gap in the market for and art gallery displaying an eclectic mixture of well-known artists, as well as lesser known but fantastic artists. David said:

“We are delighted to be working with exclusive brands, such as Linley, as well as being able to promote wonderful British designers. What makes Broadway Luxury so unique, is that people will find art pieces here that they simply cannot see anywhere else.

Andy and I had spoke in length about the need for a ‘Londonesque’ art gallery within The Cotswolds. After discovering this perfect location in Broadway, together with Susan Fisher Interior Design, we have created the perfect relaxing environment, where, as well as meeting other art enthusiasts, we welcome anybody to come in and enjoy the experience.”

On July 19th2018, Cotswold Allure Magazine was invited to the grand opening on Broadway Luxury, where champagne, cocktails and nibbles were served for an enormous celebratory gathering of friends, family and art enthusiasts such as Kristina Svajone Bobs, Sebastian Blakely, David Sinclair and Lisa Palmer.

This allowed Cotswold Allure Magazine the perfect opportunity to gage the public reaction to the all new art gallery, which was completely positive all round. When boasting such unique artwork by artists such as Willard Wigan, Guy Portelli and Shaun Gagg (to name only a few) how could the opening be anything else but awe-inspiring for all who attended, even the furniture used throughout are pieces created by artists.

As far as we are concerned at Cotswold Allure Magazine, for anyone who appreciates art, whether your knowledge is vast or little, or even just anyone visiting Broadway as so many thousands do each year, Broadway Luxury is now a must-see location in a must-visit village.
