The fashion racing fraternity were out in full force in November for the Fashion & Racing Preview evening hosted by luxury outerwear label South West Ten. This luxurious event was held an no other than the fabulous Cotswolds hotel Corse Lawn House, where guests were welcomed with prosecco and delicious canapes.

The Snug Bar at Course Lawn House is filled with dated photographs of famous past racing events, with a repeat of the day’s racing at Cheltenham Racecourse playing joyfully in the background. After a little mingling, guests then invited into the Garden Room to listen to Channel 4 racing presenter, Gina Harding, interviewing South West Ten brand ambassador Camilla Henderson about the South West Ten collection and her top tips on what to wear to the races.

When Camilla and Gina had given the audience their insight on fashion whilst racing, Gina and Gold Cup winning jockey turned trainer Sam Thomas went through their top tips for the weekend racing for The Open Meeting at Cheltenham Racecourse.

Close to any racegoers hearts is the charity Injured Jockeys Fund. A raffle was held in aid of this incredible charity, which provided a South West Ten fur lined wrap for the first draw and a bottle of Rhubarb from the delicious Foxdenton Estate Gin for the second draw. Overall the raffle raised £200 for the Injured Jockeys Fund.

Carla Kyle was the lucky winner of the gorgeous South West Ten fur lined wrap, with Liv Watts being the lucky runner up and winning the Rhubarb Gin.
