SALON PRIVE CELEBRATING 70 YEARS OF FERRARI

As if the world’s most glamorous car show, the Salon Prive Concours d’Elegance, held at one of the United Kingdom’s most precious locations, the stunning Blenheim Palace, isn’t enough to satisfy one’s thirst for prestige and finery. Only the celebration of Ferrari’s 70th anniversary, could add to the grandeur of such an important world renowned event, which is exactly what happened on Saturday 2nd 2017.

Now in it’s 12th year, the Salon Prive at Blenheim Palace was alive with excitement and awe. Auto enthusiasts flocked by the thousands to appreciate 70 years of exquisite auto design and engineering history, by the Italian brand know to every cornerstone of the world, Ferrari.

Complemented by endless Pommery Champagne, Pimms and a King Prawn luncheon, the grounds of Blenheim Palace held endless treasures for guests to marvel and appreciate. Alongside the impressive display of 70 Ferrari’s to celebrate 70 years of Ferrari, specialists such as HROwen Aston Martin, Dick Lovett, DK Engineering, Italdesign, Dylan Miles, Hemmels, and more, were displaying manner of pristine classic and modern sports cars, supercars and hypercars from Porsche, Aston Martin, Rolls Royce, Bugatti, Lamborghini, Mercedes and more!

Later in the afternoon, Silverstone Auctions held their traditional Salon Prive Concours d’Elegance auction, where dozens of exquisite cars representing the very best of breed were offered for sale, offering unique opportunities for enthusiasts to own some of the finest and rarest cars in the world.

Porsche 911 Flat Nose Cabriolet

Discovered by Joe Watts, Consignor for Silverstone Auctions, the most expensive car won at the Salon Prive 2017 auction was LOT 237, a stunning and rare Porsche 911 Flat Nose Cabriolet, which was settled at £250,000.

Now it it’s 3rd year being held at Blenheim Palace, the Salon Prive Concours d’ Elégance 2017 was another enormous success. There cannot be a finer location for guests, including Chris Eubank (Boxer) and Harry Baron (Made in Chelsea) to relax and forget everything, other than appreciating exquisite design and engineering. The vehicles displayed at the Salon Prive, are all true marvels of human innovation and determination.
